TechIS 21.1
We are pleased to introduce TechIS 21.1, a new version of our CMMS/EAM system.
Highlights
- Support for Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
- Improved spare part management
- Login with ID cards supported for WebTerminal
Failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA)
The possibility to record the cause of failures within maintenance tasks has been added to TechIS. For each work procedure step, a list of reasons why the step resulted in failure can be defined. E.g. regular maintenance on a machine can have following failure modes defined for step „check the operating fluids“ – a) lack of oil, b) lack of coolant, c) lack of brake fluid
Subsequent analysis of failure modes can identify possible improvement in work procedures, equipment operation etc.
Improved spare part management
A large number of different spare parts are commonly used in maintenance process. However, it is common to have some spare part dedicated for some (i.e. priority) devices. We adopted this practice in TechIS and introduced concept of dedicated and universal spare parts.
The dedicated spare part is for specific equipment only. Therefore, users will be offered only subset of spare parts while working of on this equipment.
On the other hand, a universal spare part will be offered for all devices. Typically, these can be, screws, bearings, oils, bulbs, etc.
ID card login to WebTerminal
The option to log in by loading ID card has now been added to the WebTerminal. All you need to do is have a card reader connected to your computer and employees will no longer have to write down their username and password.
